National Honor Our LGBT Elders Day at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra

Founded in Baltimore and now celebrated coast to coast, National Honor Our LGBT Elders Day, or Elders Day, was created to foster awareness and show appreciation for the lifetime of contributions made by LGBT Elders.
• Each year on May 16 at the Elder Day event, we gather to hear an inspiring group of LGBTQ community storytellers share the importance of a beloved Elder who has been essential to their journey.

• The reach of National Honor our LGBT Elders Day is 1.11 million total reach and nearly 10,000 views across 36 states and 4 countries. A few highlighted organizations that celebrated include: PFLAG National, Capital Pride DC, Free Mom Hugs, National Black Justice Coalition, Canadian Pride Historical Society, Lambda Legal, SAGE, Maryland Insurance Administration, Maryland Department of Aging.
